WHATâS THE FORMAT?
Junior drivers (aged 8-13) and their family members can drive on the circuit in open, timed driving sessions. Perfect if you want to find out who the fastest member of the family is. Open timed driving sessions means that parents and older siblings can drive together with their younger junior family members and other âlike-mindedâ groups at the same time!
Drivers will take part in 20 lap (or 12.5 minute) karting sessions with a break in between if you’ve booked more than 1, giving you time between each session to re-fuel and check who really rules the family thanks to your personalised lap time print outs. (which we will also email to you too!)

*A session is 20 Laps or 12.5 Minutes, whichever ends first. This ensures we stay on schedule for later bookings.
If your group has like minded drivers aged 14+ and they wish to kart with Junior drivers at the same time they will pay the current senior/14+ Karting prices. You can find those here
Junior Karting has a minimum height of 1.32m. As each driver is different we are unable to guarantee a drivers suitability to kart until we can asses them in a kart. If you’d like to pop in we are happy to test fit before you book.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU VISITâŚ..
Youâll need a head covering (if using our helmets) and a pair of gloves. Hygiene regulations mean we can no longer loan these to you. Balaclavas and gloves are available at reception on arrival for ÂŁ3 each or ÂŁ5 if you need both as a âcomfort packâ or youâre more than welcome to bring your own. (Your gloves need to be a full finger covering and have a textured grip to the palm)
Should you wish to secure a slot youâll need to pay a deposit of ÂŁ10 per person (This comes off the overall cost of the booking). Youâre more than welcome to just turn up but we donât advise it and canât guarantee or hold a space.
Drivers aged 8 – 13 drive in our Junior Open Karting category. Drivers aged 14+ drive in our Senior Open Karting category. We are always happy to mix age groups on track but to do so, youâll need to be a like minded party such as a family. If other drivers are on circuit with you, they’ll be made up of just junior drivers, or similar like minded family groups too!
The age of the driver does not indicate the type of kart they will drive, but the session they will drive in. Drivers are fitted to karts based on size as it is important that you can properly use the controls of the kart. A trained Race Directors will make this decision at the time of kart fitment. Larger Junior drivers may need to drive a larger red “Senior” kart. Smaller drivers aged 14+ may need to drive a smaller yellow “Junior” kart.
Drivers need to wear comfortable clothing and trainer type shoes. Their full foot needs to be covered so open toed shoes including crocs can’t be worn.
Any headwear or loose and dangling items that could work lose and entangle in a kart cannot be worn for the safety of the driver. Unfortunately this does include religious headwear such as Turbans, Patkas, Hijabâs and similar where the material has the ability to unravel and extend past the bottom of the drivers neck.
Drivers under the age of 16 will need a parent or guardian on site to supervise for the duration of your visit.
